About Our Recipe Collection

A different approach to recipes

We wanted to create recipes that anyone can make in their home kitchen, with quick and easy access to the actual recipes.

Recipes first

We have deliberately left out the often rather long introductory text found on many other recipe sites, which is usually there in the hope of achieving better search engine indexing, so that you can go straight to the recipes.

Why there are no photographs

There are no photos by design, both to keep costs down and to improve page load times. More importantly, whatever you make will never look exactly like the photograph, so we decided that photographs were unnecessary.

Why there are no nutritional values

We have no control over the ingredients people actually use, where they are purchased, or whether the recommended quantities are followed exactly. For this reason, we do not provide nutritional values that could give a false impression of accuracy.

Why the sites are separate

There is a menu on the home page of jwbiz.co.uk listing all the recipe categories. Keeping each category on its own site makes the individual recipe pages less confusing and less cluttered.

Who created them

Dave Williams, MD of JWBIZ, is an avid home chef and is well known among his friends for being something of a 'gourmet chef'. He wanted to share his recipes with everyone.

The idea behind the collection

These sites were created for one simple reason: when someone searches for a recipe because they want to cook it, they shouldn't have to fight their way through everything else first.
